Bill Young's VW Hunting Car

I finally found someone else who appreciates that a VW bus makes a great hunting car.  Bill Young of Sugar Land, TX (near Houston) found this website and called me about his VW bus hunting car.  He calls it the Boss Bus #1.  His ranch, south of Falfurrias, TX, is called Dos Jefes ( two chiefs or bosses).  Check out Bill's blog at http://lamontbrittany.blogspot.com. 

Last spring, a friend who knows that I hunt using a VW bus hunting car called me to tell me that he had seen a VW bus hunting car at the Farmer's Co-op south of Kingsville ---  and it was not my VW.  I immediately went home, grabbed my digital camera, and headed south.

These are the pictures that I took with the Boss Bus on the trailer outside the Co-op.

When Bill called and asked about my VW, we realized during the conversation that this was one of his hunting cars.  I told him that I had taken the pictures, and he asked that I email them to him since he did have any pictures of his own.  I did so and also posted them here.

I look forward to meeting Bill and exchanging rides in our unique hunting rigs.
